Crafting.

Hyperdrive Fuel problems solved
My Hyperdrive went faster empty than I thought. There was one Jump of 120 Light years, which I guess took twice as much than other jumps, on my current engine. Still got to monitor this more closely though, as I am not certain about that.

As I now learned how to make Suspension fluid, Electron Vapor, Antimater and combine it into a Warp Cell, I wont have to pay for Hyper Drive fuel anymore.

All of those parts are luckily also the basic materials available within any system I have been to so far.

In total one needs following for a Warp Cell:
  • Carbon - 50
  • Plutonium - 100
  • Heredium - 50
  • Zinc - 20
  • Thanium - 100
Source of more Units Solved
Found out that a 40+ slot ship costs 50+ million Units. Hence I need to upgrade sooner or later, I got to save a bit further after all (unless I can salvage one somewhere).
Luckily I found the formula for Lemmium. Which is a material that is sold at about 36 thousand per piece, and the building blogs are Titanium and Plutonium, ... which are available quite in abundance. At the next Titanium rich planet I will fill up on this and start crafting for another couple of million Units.

Today my path brought me along following System
  • Izanskyvin
  • Urovkoelidre
  • Napatilakruh
  • Gronistystyc
  • Methandigetsbed
  • Olionabandu
  • Ekopinberais
  • Majoskabelat
  • Eijoitalsv
  • Inveyfaripu
  • Iyangdonish
  • Litonquumoud
  • Butzentsuruum-Dayzh
  • UsonomiYashima
  • Ideranimer Bands
  • Nahayamanao
This accounts for about 1.500 light years.
In the last system I found another crash-landed ship and within its trunk a Hyper Drive that is stronger then mine. Looking at it, I will need a lot of aluminium to fix it into my ship, and a lot of cooper to wire it up.

With that I got myself a new task list for another day, before I travel on.

On the path again

Within one week I now got myself to a level where I am equipped with a 24 slot Mining Tool and my ship is upgraded to a level where I can defend myself.

Since I left the Miridias System, with an account full of units, I have the pirates on my exhausts like a cow flies at it's backside. Sometimes they even come in a pack of 6. Could though also be the content of my cargo bay. Naturaly I left with a full one and am now slowly trading it of, depending on the market situation of the local system.

Found the materials and a blue print to upgrade my hyper-drive (in a abandoned facility, where I broke down the door and disabled the security system), with which I was able to upgrade the max range from 60 to 80 light years. Totally worth being chase out of the system.

What I cant find anywhere yet is the element Omegon. A material that is useful for top grade upgrades. Not even for sale.

I am coming across more and more, amphibian looking, Gek though.

Just when I started to understand the Vi'keen a bit better, I had to adjust and start learning another language. Wondering how often I will have to switch around at that, till I am back at the core.

Next short term goal is go on to a straight line towards the core, until i run out of hyper-drive fuel and then invest into a 48 slot cargo ship, in case one comes along. For the next day or so I am though grounded at a the space station two system past Meridas, hence I got patch some holes that a view pirates punched into my shield generator at the last meeting with some of their sorts.

I fear it is only getting worse at that. Might have to upgrade even further.

Still here, still farming.

Am at 10 mil units now, and still farming.
I guess I go for another 14 mil units and than I go on, in regards to my way to the core.

There are just so many of them ... it's cracy.
Am sitting here on the mother-load !

Am getting more and more comfortable with exploring the caves, inclusive the underwater caves.
At first I feared not to be able to find the exit and worst case to not find my way back to the ship.
Though I seem to gotten my navigational problems under control now.

Got myself some more Suit and Multi tool space upgrades.

Through a Transmitter I also found a crashed ship. Had one storage place more then mine, though to much damage, inclusive the Hyper drive been damaged and that made it not worth it in the end.

The caves by themselves do also have there own kind of beauty.

Made no progress in regards to my current situation, other than learning some more of the Vy'keen language.

Planet: Plenty Vortex Cubes and a Portal @ Meridias V.Cube Rush

Region: Edge to the Tsildop Fringe, though still in Lafquenotc Boundary
System: Meridias V.Cube Rush
Planet: Plenty Vortex Cubes and a Portal
Not far of Euclid Galaxy - I think, still not exactly sure where I was stranded out here)
The following says it all.
(Took about 10 min to collect the above)

Lukily the planet is also full of plutonium and Language interfaces.
Or caves where I found 30 within a range of 3 minutes.

Just about 178 thousand light years of the core.
{dammit, that's still a long way to go}

The Vy'keen trading post on the surface allowed me avoid pirate attacks, on the way to sell it at the space station.

Currently undetected/unnamed Systems next to it:
Lafquenotc Boundary:

  • Etlichnovit-Nugmai [19 ly clossest system]
  • Revakazansky-Neti
  • Rolyovkazo-Pix
  • Iskoveylkins

Next three systems towards the core:

  • Onilandaledz II (Tsildop Frindge)
  • Izanskyfin (Lafquenotc Boundary)
  • Urovkoelidre (Lafquenotc Boundary)

Save Journey,

---

I just woke up next to this portal thingy today and realised where I am.

The first planet I land on with my new ship and it just happens to be sugar coated with Vortex Cubes all frigging over. Those things are literally everywhere. 10.000's of the them. Minimum. More. Where ever you land you can collect 5 in a radius of about 200 steps.

If I would would not know it better than I would think that somebody shot thousands and thousands of this thingies through the Portal I slept next to in my ship over night on to this planet for me. Well, ... thought that would be merely a wishful thinking I guess. Though today one could almost make me believe that this reality in which I got stranded at the far edge of the  Galaxy is based on some sort of intelligent design.
Well, voila, Что ж & saperlot ... my path to the centre of the galaxy will now be truly well pre-financed, once I mined/collected here for a couple of days.

From the wake at overheated baking oven of a planet, with a massive hangover on top of it, ... into the galaxies finest treasure chamber.

I still cant believe my luck to stumble across it in my ship. Guess one day a fellow lucky traveller will fall into a portal in order to try his/her random luck and stumble across this planet.
Don't envy them though. They will have a long walk to the trading post to call for a space ship. Wish them to have some advanced equipment along that gets you up to the space station to buy a new ship. Would even deposit one now, in preparation for them, ... if I knew how.

If I now stumble across a Space Station, on the way to the core, that serves me some Ice Cold "Kaiser Beer", then I start building Monuments in the name of the Atlas Guidance System and beer bottles made of gold.

Like that one:

Satterqua S43

As I waited and waited, I realised, once I am that far in saving up units, then I can also do it a bit longer in order to afford one of the 32 cargo unit Ships.

Jumped to the next system. It was a single planet system with the planet ending up a tiny bit to far inside the Goldilocks-Zone and hence about 50 C° during the day and the occasional heat storm that pushed it up to 114 C°.

Luckily enough though I found 5 planet bound equipment stations (through scanning from my ship) at which where I was able to expand my Exo-Suit-Storrage capacity and Gold nuggets as tall as a mountain.

Took me about 40 minutes to grind the essence of the Gold nugget from the mountain side into my inventory, with my current equipment.

After grinding for even more Gold and Emeril, in order to exchange into units, I finally made it up to 5,4 million. As soon as I had the finances, those ships that I wanted to buy stopped appearing.
Though, I was also sitting on a couple of Warp Cells, as a side product of my field trips. So I kept on jumping, from system to system and space station to space station, in order to look out for my next space ship. At the seven (accounting for approx 600 light years later), I found it. A Vi'keen Warrier sold her to me for 5.2 mill.

Now I have a full Hyperdrive, two spare Warp Cores and enough storage capacity to collect and craft.
A view weapon upgrades and exploring as well as trading can begin.

I guess it will carry me quite a part of my remaining 178.000 Light years, and hopefully keep those pesky space pirates of my goods & at bay.

---

On a different subject:
I keep finding those Atlas stations, which give me those Atlas Stones (worth about 60K where I am at the moment) and two tech items.

The last one looked more like a black hole, instead of a red pulsating sphere. Odd. Just Odd. Wonder who built them, and why. They seem to be connected with my travels back to the core and try sooth my mind ever-time I connect with them.

Well, as long as they keep upgrading and sponsoring me, ... no bother.

A Korvax Priest offered to show me a short cut through a black hole at a "space anomaly" station just one systems later. Got to say, sounds seducing, though I don't trust those kind of short cuts. With my luck, I fly in, calculations are off just a bit and I am even further out. To much of a gamble for me at the moment. Not happening. Lets see what the next planet brings.

For now I will follow the straight line that was set out for me.

Day 3 (Atlas Guidance)

After a lot of mining I made it up to 2.5 m-units and shortly there after a view systems further.
While I was doing the mining gold run I kept being pestered by more and more space pirates. They must have seen me doing the same route to and from the space station once to often.

In the next system I ran into an Atlas station and received an AtlasPassV1 and further guidance back to the core. That should open some doors.

I still had some warp engine fuel to burn, so I jumped yet again.
Here I found an odd outpost with even more curios hosts. A Gek Specialist, which kind of looks a bit Frog like to me and a Korvax Priest, yet another AI.

Surprisingly, both of them where able to speak my language. The Priest offered me to show me either the continuation on the atlas way or teach me how to use dark matter in order to do shortcuts. The sound of short cuts is kind of an interest of my at the moment, though not by the use of dark matter. Personally, I dont trust this stuff. Almost willing to bet that this is the way how I got out here in the first place.

Well. They both wished me fare well, in their own way I guess, and now I am standing in the space station. Waiting for a 26 to 29 cargo space ship to come in and buy it.

25 cargo ships come for about 1.8 M-Units, where 32 come for 5.2 M-Units.
Based on this I guess 27 - 28 is what I should aim for at the moment.
lets see what comes along.

I wished they had a showroom, where to buy spaceships of the shelf.

2nd Day.

1st System Jump and I left Korvex Space. Dammit. I liked the machines.
Well, the Porteldij-Sagas System seems to currently be in control of the Vy'ken.
Not sure, but I think that I don't like that bunch. To aggressive Nature for my taste.

Stayed for the night at an encampment and was able to switch to a bigger ship.

Thought that I make a great deal, though did not realise that when we said traid ship, that the other one flew of with all my raw materials inside as well. Bugger. Well for one additional space of storage, with storage being at a premium it was still the only way to go.

Seriously, who designs a spaceship with that little loading capacity. That's bonkers right there.
Bet they have never been stranded at the far end of reality with one of their rust buckets.

Later the same day I landed that tin by accident in a cave. Don't ask me how I did it. Was about half way into the the bloody mountain and there was no way of turning this thing round. Took me a walk of a view miles in order to get enough materials to craft a plasma launcher and there after at least 15 plasma launcher reloads (of 6 shots each) in order to get the ship out of there again.

Saw me almost walking to the next outpost for 45 minutes, in order to request it per autopilot from there.

Even though that I had my warp drive reloaded I am still inclined to stay in the same system for another day or two. One out of four planets does not want to kill me with radiation, heat, coldness or acid. Also, it is full of Gold spread all over the surface. Hence I intend to gather up to 3 million Units, then jump two times in order to empty my Warp Drive Fuel and then buy a larger ship.

---

On a different subject, other then survival.
What ever planet I land on, I find messages and Technology stones of the Anquiden or Ancients, and no where Cities or Settlements. Looking forward to find the first industrialised Planet with a Star Map that gives me more details to the surrounding territories.

Even though there is Trade going on everywhere, it still seems all be rather unexplored out here in the wildness of the Fringe.

---

Ps.: Found that Emerilium seems to be worth quite a lot in my Area.
Note for myself: You ever come across it again. Mine it.

1st. End Of Day Report

Alright, it has sunk in. I got a long way to go.
I think I keep doing this kind of updates when ever there is a day of progress.
Just to keep track, for myself.
Let's see how it plans out.
...
Well here it comes.

Day 1
Woke up in the Fringe of Reality after a party at ... dammit I even forgot where the party was. Whatever they did into my drink or with me, or I to myself, it sure is well worth a story, once I am back. If I ever get back. Where ever that is.
At least I was not stranded without access to spaceflight!

The Space station was a bit of a Time waster. Except to tell me what I already knew. I am broke. I need units and resources, for upgrades and a bigger ship, in order to fly faster and carry more.

Here comes the master plan. First I gather, once I reach a critical mass I will trade and then we will see.

I got a local beacon highlighted in the system by my ship and naturally thought to investigate.
If there where no pulse drive installed in this ship then it would have taken me 4 hours to get there.

The beacon forwarded me to another outpost of the Korvax. Got myself a nice Mining equipment upgrade.

Yep, that's how the first step towards the galactic centre looks like.
The local administrator of the outpost was so kind to give me the plans for a hyper drive.
Luckily I had still some crafting tricks up my sleeve.

Hence now we are set to travel the Stars.
May the journey begin.

Ps.: First I had to fuel up and get some Antimatter. After a system wide scan I got aware of an outpost. Later that Day as I arrived there I received an Antimatter Core through another messenger from "Nada and Polo". Would not be all to surprised if they had their fingers in this ploy of me waking up out here. Lets see how this develops.

Luski Encampment / Rapolditensi in the Tilisitop Fringe of the Euclid Galaxy

Found somebody. Finaly. Finally. There was a nearby Camp and even if they but AIs.

These seem to be the the Korvax. I can understand at least one word they say.
"Rare"
Who'd guessed. Well, have to put learning their Language on to my, got to do list for getting back to the core.

Not far from it there was also this strange monolit.

It probed my mind and tried to trigger an arachnophobia attack. Almost made me throw up, though I perceived and gained some more Korvax bonus points as it seems.

Now I am though getting fed up with this hot planet.
Its time to leave this hot dump yard of a backing oven planet.

And here is the Galactic Map and the name of where I crashed.
Rapolditensi in the Tilisitop Fringe.

Oh no. That's worse than I though.
There truly is nothing out here. Somebody must have thrown me into a Warp Portal. Otherwise, ... I cant explain it how I would get out here in half a life time.

I mean. Just zooming back through the map in fee exploration mode to the center takes me half a day.
My exact words:

"No way."
"No way."
"No, ... unbelievable."
"This is ridiculous."
"This is ridiculous."
"No way"
...
and so on for another view minutes.

Well. Getting back there will take me, lets say, a while.
Hey, ... I am alive.
I am here for the journey.
Lets do it.

Lets see what is going on at the Local Space station.
*(Next update will be a while)

The situation cools down.

Alright. It's Dawn. Back in the cockpit.

At least it gets a bit colder here in the night time. Just about cool enough to get to work and not right out burn with every step. Man, am lucky that this rock is not tidal locked.

Equipment & Thruster Repaired.
I dont know whos ship that was, it was broken, I repaired it, hence it's salvage now its mine.
Almost.
Cant find Zinc for the Engine. Got to get out there again when Night has fallen.

While I was gathering resources I found a piece of ancient equipment. When I activated it uploaded a memory node into my mind. Damn. I got to be more careful with this kind of stuff. Who knows that the next one does. This one just implanted the Word for "Rare" as a species called Korvax uses it.
...
Who ever the heck they may be.
...
At least the sky is clear.
Nothing worse than waking up at the far ass end of reality during an acid rain.
At least there I lucked out.

Alright. I'm Screwed.

Yes. Well, at least there was an Atlas Guiding System and a tiny space ship. Rasamama S36.
Otherwhise, this would be it.
Nobody arround except for a couple of Birds.

The Engine is broken, the Thrusters are broken, no Scanners, No weapon, somebody took all my units ... it's a nightmare. It got to be. I mean. I am sweating myself a monkeys ass out here at a leasurly 66 C. without a proper thermal suit. That got to be a bad joke.

"Folks. It's funny. I get it ... YOU CAN UNPLUG ME NOW AND STOP IT"

Caaaalm. Keep calm.
2nd rule, ... 2nd rule ...
Dont Panik.

1st Rule. I need a Towel.
I guess I first of all set out to craft a micro densitiy fabric. That should count.
Everything else - 2nd.

Sorted.

I got to get my gear together and get of this planet to the next space station in order to check out how rightfully screwed and far out of the center I am.
*(Next update shortly)

Where am I ?

I think I just woke up at far "ass end" of Reality and I am not talking about a good wakupcall here, as far as I can judge it.

My first thoughts might just give a glimpse of how I am feeling.

Oh my.
How did I get here.
I am so hangover, ... at least I think I am.
I cant even remember why.
How did I get here ?
My head hurts.
"Hallo? Anyone arround. Whos ship is this ?"
...
And why the hell is everything broken here ?
*(update will follow shortly)
